Equi Sana

Equi Sana is a bodywork and horsemanship practice based in Nunspeet, founded by Saskia Schipper. Its name means “healthy horse,” reflecting a focus on physical and mental balance for both horses and people. Equi Sana offers Guasha massage for horses and humans, as well as Shiatsu and fascia massage for horses.

Sessions may combine several techniques and, when appropriate, use essential oils. The practice also provides Natural Horsemanship training and instruction, along with rider coaching. Saskia describes her approach as attentive, calm, and tailored in consultation with each client.

Massage is presented as supporting relaxation, circulation, lymph flow, and muscle and connective-tissue wellbeing. Equi Sana treats only healthy horses and is not a veterinary service. If a horse’s health is in doubt, Saskia refers the owner to a veterinarian; work related to an injury or condition requires veterinary consultation and written approval.
