Equisportconnect

Equisportconnect by Sabine Metzer offers tailored riding instruction and mental coaching, with the enjoyment and wellbeing of both horse and rider at the heart of its approach. Sabine works with beginners and experienced riders, adapting lessons to individual goals, needs and experience. Instruction is available at the rider’s location and focuses on building trust, improving communication and developing a calm, positive partnership.

Mental coaching helps riders strengthen focus and confidence and manage pressure, fear and uncertainty. Sabine also supports riders who have lost confidence after a difficult experience, using techniques such as breathing exercises and gradual confidence-building. For riders preparing to compete, she offers practical and mental support at events, helping them maintain focus and handle performance pressure.

Services include individual lessons, a six-week confidence-building programme and a six-week programme addressing competition anxiety. Sabine’s training is grounded in patience, empathy and respect for each horse as an individual. Her background includes working with a range of horses, mental coaching training and veterinary nursing education, informing her attention to both physical and emotional wellbeing. Equisportconnect also organises clinics focused on horse-friendly training and riders’ technique.
