EquiTrust Oy

EquiTrust Oy provides professional training services for young horses, built around trust, individual needs and a horse’s natural pace of development. Based at Sammalisto Stables in Riihimäki, Finland, the company offers a tailored four-month programme designed to develop confidence, handling skills, understanding of basic riding aids, fitness and coordination, while preparing horses to work with their owners. Trainer Jan Liesendahl brings experience working with more than a thousand horses, and training plans take each horse’s temperament, condition and previous experience into account.

Owners can choose monthly Standard or Premium full-training packages, or book a mobile one-hour training session for horses that already know the basics of riding. Packages include varying levels of training, health and nutrition monitoring, and progress reports; the Premium option also includes photos and videos and a horse-specific guide. EquiTrust shares updates through WhatsApp and documents horses’ progress throughout their training. Its facilities partner, Sammalisto Stables, has five stable buildings, 82 stalls, a large indoor arena and a horse walker.
