Equus Workforce Solutions-Idaho

Equus Workforce Solutions – Idaho helps Idaho residents prepare for, find, and secure jobs and careers aligned with their strengths, lifestyles, and goals. Through the federally funded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the organization supports adults and dislocated workers with employment and training needs, including people facing barriers such as veterans and military spouses, laid-off workers, justice-involved individuals, low-income residents, and single parents.

Its services include career guidance, employer services, job-search support, in-person and virtual workshops, training and education, and connections to community partners. Participants may access paid work experience, on-the-job training, work-readiness courses, and classroom training to build job skills. The process begins with an online orientation and an IdahoWorks job-seeker account. An intake specialist then contacts applicants, and eligible participants work with a career coach on documentation, assessment, and enrollment.

Equus Workforce Solutions – Idaho also connects employers with job seekers and works to strengthen the link between education and workforce needs.
