Ergotherapie-am-Waldrand

Ergotherapie “Am Waldrand” is Michelle Hildebrandt’s occupational therapy practice in Neustadt, Harztor, Germany, specializing in support for children and adolescents. Its individualized approach aims to develop young clients’ motor, cognitive, and social abilities, strengthen independence in everyday life, and build fine and gross motor skills, concentration, and attention. Therapy is tailored to each child, with families involved in setting practical goals and supporting progress; the practice also describes collaboration with teachers, doctors, and other therapists.

Services include pediatric occupational therapy, concentration training using the Marburg Concentration Training approach, and assessment and support related to handedness. As a certified left-handedness consultant, Hildebrandt offers handedness testing based on Dr. Johanna Barbara Sattler’s concept and recommendations to encourage motor development, fine motor control, and hand skills. The practice also draws on creative activities and playful movement exercises, with dedicated creative and movement spaces for children to explore and develop skills. Hildebrandt has worked in several practices since 2019 and has completed further training in areas including graphomotor skills, pediatric assessment, and concentration training.
