Ergotherapie NWM

Ergotherapie Nordwestmecklenburg is a provider of occupational therapy for children, young people and adults, with practices in Wismar and Neukloster. Its work focuses on helping people build, maintain or regain the abilities they need for greater independence, quality of life and participation in everyday activities. The team supports children’s development by encouraging their strengths through play and addressing challenges at home, at school and in social settings.

For adults, therapy offers support after illness or accidents, as well as when everyday demands affect health and independence. The website also explains what occupational therapy involves and provides practical information on prescriptions, how treatment works and coverage of costs. Patients and families can contact the practices with questions or to arrange an appointment.

The Wismar practice is led by Detlev Welz, while the Neukloster practice is run by Detlev Welz and Arne Klein. Ergotherapie Nordwestmecklenburg presents its services with a people-centred approach and a commitment to improving everyday quality of life
