Erkenfara is a long-running fantasy gaming world built around interconnected realms, cultures, characters, and shared adventures. For more than 30 years, around 80 to 120 participants have played on its map, combining strategy, role-playing, and trading games with events such as chariot races and live-action role-play. The world’s history continues to evolve as kingdoms rise and fall, and players can explore current realms including Avallon, Nordheim, Theostelos, and the nomadic Yaromo.

Alongside the realms are international groups, magical organizations, and the Elementals, who oversee the game. Erkenfara also features a broad calendar of in-world events, from wars and feasts to bardic and warrior competitions. The website serves as a community resource and reference library, with articles documenting the setting, its peoples, organizations, and history.
