Erlebnishof Obergründemich

Erlebnishof Obergründemich is a riding and equestrian activity centre in Overath, Germany, offering experiences and instruction for children and adults. Its services range from first rides and beginner lessons to leisure riding and focused training, including dressage work for more experienced riders. The team of riding instructors and therapists provides individual guidance, matching each participant with a suitable horse and trainer. The horses and ponies include patient mounts for beginners as well as more finely trained ponies and small horses for riders seeking a greater challenge.

The centre also offers riding therapy and riding education, using activities with horses to encourage confidence, responsibility and personal development. Other options include pony riding for children from age three, children’s birthday experiences, horse-related courses and riding holidays, including holidays for children with disabilities. Lessons are available Monday through Saturday, with separate schedules during school holidays; regular instruction is not offered on Sundays or public holidays. Visits and appointments must be arranged in advance.
