Ermitage is an independent French dairy cooperative founded in 1931 by 211 milk producers seeking to preserve their independence and make quality cheese. Owned by its producers, the cooperative now collects milk from around 1,000 farms across the Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions. Nearly 1,000 employees transform this milk, with a focus on traditional cheesemaking, regional expertise and high standards of quality.
