Ernest Vineyards is a family-owned winery located in Healdsburg, California. Founded by Erin Brooks and Todd Gottula, the winery specializes in producing site-specific Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the West Sonoma Coast. Inspired by the unique character of wines from the region, Ernest Vineyards was established in 2012 to explore the potential of cool-climate, marine-influenced wines from California's rugged northern coastline.
With the addition of Winemaker Joseph Ryan in 2018, Ernest Vineyards has embraced a low-intervention approach to winemaking, focusing on restraint, bright acidity, and engaging complexity. Their thoughtful fermentation and aging processes allow the true essence of the vineyards to shine through in each bottle. Committed to sustainable and organic farming practices, Ernest Vineyards farms 35 acres in Sonoma County using regenerative methods and dry-farming whenever possible.
