About Erosive Tooth Wear
Erosive Toothwear Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of Erosive Toothwear (ET) on oral health. ET is a condition where tooth structure can deteriorate, leading to functional, aesthetic, and sensitivity issues. It is different from tooth decay and often misunderstood. The Foundation aims to educate on the science behind ET, its prevalence, prevention strategies, and optimal management approaches.
Led by a team of experts including Dr. Rupert Austin, Professor David Bartlett, Professor Carolina Ganss, Ester Hoekstra, Doctor Olivia Kérourédan, and Professor Emeritus Adrian Lussi, the Foundation collaborates with health professionals to disseminate evidence-based knowledge. Through educational tools spanning Education, Dental Practice, Public Health, and Research domains, the Foundation strives to enhance understanding and promote effective strategies for combating Erosive Toothwear for better public health outcomes.
