ELDEN RING Reforged is a community-created gameplay overhaul for ELDEN RING, developed by Kirnifr and the Reforged team and shared through Nexus Mods. It reworks the game to encourage players to explore its world, pursue distinctive character concepts, and make more considered choices in combat. The mod reshapes core balance and combat mechanics, aiming to offer impactful moment-to-moment decisions and a broader range of tools and viable build options.
Its design favors deep, unhurried playthroughs over quick routes to becoming powerful, and invites players to approach the experience with fresh expectations rather than relying on assumptions about the original game’s balance. Reforged also includes changes associated with gameplay, animations, user interface, camera, NPC behavior, bug fixes, and quality of life. The project is supported by a multidisciplinary contributor team, with credits spanning programming, concept and asset art, mapping, quality assurance, visual effects, spell design, and more.
