Erve Meyerinkbroek is an agricultural, care and education farm offering a welcoming place to work, learn and spend time together. Set on seven hectares of grassland and home to a variety of animals, the farm has provided care services since 1998. From Monday to Friday, an average of nineteen adults with intellectual disabilities, known as “helping farmers,” take part in the farm’s activities from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The farm’s aim is to provide a meaningful and enjoyable daily routine in an environment where everyone feels at home and valued. Participants can contribute through varied tasks suited to their abilities and interests, with support from the farm’s team. The work encourages participation, learning and personal development in a safe, supportive setting.
Visitors can arrange a friendly coffee visit with apple pie or come to see the animals. Erve Meyerinkbroek also offers sales and invites prospective visitors to make an appointment to learn more about its work, care approach and activities.
