The European Youth Information and Counselling Agency (ERYICA) is an independent European organisation, composed of national and regional youth information co-ordination bodies and networks. It works to intensify European co-operation in the field of youth information work and services. It aims to develop, support and promote quality generalist youth information policy and practice at all levels, in order to meet the information needs of young people and to apply the principles of the European Youth Information Charter. ERYICA aims to foster European and international cooperation in the field of youth information services. They accomplish this by promoting local, national, and international initiatives and offering its members opportunities for professional development, exchange, and innovation. With 43 members from 27 countries, ERYICA provides over 4,000 youth information services and has a network of more than 31,000 staff and volunteers.
