ESAT Schiltigheim

ESAT Schiltigheim is a supported-work and social-care establishment operated by APEDI Alsace, a nonprofit association founded in 1978. It welcomes 170 adults with intellectual disabilities and is supported by nearly 40 trained professionals. The organization combines work opportunities with individualized medico-social support, helping workers maintain and develop professional and social skills and build greater autonomy where possible.

Its services include a restaurant open to the public, offering affordable meals served by workers with disabilities, as well as meal delivery to specialist establishments. Workshop services cover labeling, packaging, small-scale assembly, assembly work, palletizing, and weighing and counting. The establishment also provides industrial cleaning and laundry services, with tasks adapted to workers’ needs and abilities.

ESAT Schiltigheim rents meeting rooms during the day, with facilities including Wi-Fi, a projector, screens, sound equipment, and a flip chart. Food and refreshments can also be arranged, including meals for groups of up to 20 people.
