ESBF

Engineers and Scientists in Business Fellowship (ESBF) is a registered UK charity dedicated to promoting business education for engineers and scientists and helping them develop their leadership potential. Through its Sainsbury Management Fellows programme, ESBF awards more than £800,000 in scholarships each year, enabling talented, committed engineers and scientists to study for an MBA at leading international business schools. Scholarships of up to £50,000 support recipients’ business education and development as future leaders.

ESBF also introduces young people to enterprise and business skills through competitions. It partners with more than 50 UK universities to sponsor enterprise competitions that recognise and reward promising engineering and science talent. The national Champion of Champions competition brings selected university finalists together to showcase their innovations.

The organisation shares news, resources and profiles of its members, known as Sainsbury Management Fellows, and welcomes donations and monthly membership. Its reported impact includes more than 400 Fellows, over 300 new businesses formed and more than 20,000 jobs created.
