Esbjerg Jagtforening

Esbjerg Jagtforening is a local hunting association that brings members together through hunting activities, training, information, and shared events. Its programme includes group hunts in the municipal plantations of Østskoven, Guldager Plantage, and Marbæk Plantage, with dates announced for the 2026–2027 season. Places at hunts in Guldager Plantage are allocated by lottery among members who register. The association also arranges opportunities such as a planned one-day sea hunt for diving ducks in the South Funen Archipelago, subject to confirmation of the date.

Dog training is another part of the association’s activities, with events including retrieving and obedience training, alongside field trials and training sessions. Members can read the association’s local hunting journal, which publishes information and updates. Esbjerg Jagtforening also provides access to its statutes, board information, and privacy policy, and invites people to join. Member benefits include discounts on hunting clothing and equipment at the Danish retailer Friluft.dk, as well as a paint-store offer that supports the association.
