Escalada Libre A. C. is a community-based organization in northeastern Mexico dedicated to protecting natural areas and promoting responsible climbing and mountaineering.

Founded by people with an interest in mountain recreation, the association works to make these activities safer and more sustainable while preserving the places where they take place. Its efforts include developing plans and programs to protect and maintain climbing areas, organizing clean-up brigades in remote locations, rehabilitating routes, installing climbing bolts and signs, and reforesting areas affected by fires. The organization also promotes environmental awareness and “Leave No Trace” principles, encouraging climbers to minimize their impact and care for routes and campsites.

Escalada Libre shares information about its activities, history, team, and conservation work, and emphasizes ongoing safety and training. People can support its work through donations via PayPal or bank transfer, by visiting participating gyms, or by purchasing Escalada Libre products. The association also collaborates with organizations that advance conservation and public awareness, helping protect Mexico’s mountain ecosystems for future generations
