Escola Planeta Doce is a daycare and early childhood education school in Vila Dom Pedro I, São Paulo, founded in 2008 by people passionate about children and their education. The school welcomes children from five months to five years old and describes its approach as Montessori-inspired, placing children at the center of their learning rather than treating them as passive observers.

Its educational activities aim to develop sensory, motor and cognitive abilities, encouraging children to think, explore, create and express themselves in different ways. Reading is a priority, with children encouraged to create their own texts using skills suited to their age. The school also offers hands-on nature activities, including planting, observing growth and harvesting in its garden.

Planeta Doce emphasizes attentive care, a gradual adjustment to the school environment and communication with families. It aims to provide a safe, supportive setting where children’s daily needs are met while parents work.
