d'Escrime Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

The Ligue Régionale d’Escrime Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is the regional organization supporting and promoting fencing across France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It connects more than 90 affiliated clubs, over 7,000 licensed participants and 11 departmental committees, which help clubs develop and foster local sporting activity. The league provides information and resources for beginners, experienced fencers, clubs and officials, including regional competition calendars, rankings, qualification details, regulations and practical documents.

Its activities encompass Olympic fencing disciplines as well as artistic fencing, laser sabre, school fencing and fencing for health and wellbeing. Participants can find clubs, explore different ways to practise, and follow regional events and athletes. The league also organizes regional training courses and stages, supports training centres, and offers pathways to become a fencing instructor, educator or referee. Additional resources cover grants and assistance, licences and insurance, safeguarding and the prevention of violence in sport. Through news, events and guidance, the organization helps people engage with fencing and strengthens the sport’s community throughout the region.
