The Académie d’Escrime de Montargis (ADEM) is a fencing club welcoming participants of all ages and skill levels, from children aged four to adults. Based at Gymnase Poletta Foppa, 5 rue du Puiseaux in Montargis, the academy offers fencing as both a recreational activity and a competitive sport. Members can practise sabre or épée while developing agility, coordination, endurance, concentration and self-control in an environment that values respect and fair play.

ADEM’s training sessions take place on Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings, and on Wednesday evenings, with schedules varying by day. The club invites newcomers to try a free introductory session and encourages people to visit throughout the year. For those interested in competition, ADEM also provides minibus transport for participants. Its website features information about sporting activities, training, fees and registration, as well as upcoming competitions, arbitration and club news. Prospective fencers can contact the academy by phone or email to learn more and arrange a visit.
