The Association of Writers of Euskadi (AEE/EIE) is a writers’ organization for people from Euskadi and those residing in the Basque Autonomous Community. Its aim is to bring writers together so they can share knowledge, join forces, and collaborate in publishing, promoting, and developing their work. The association also supports members’ freedom of expression and builds connections with similar organizations to help introduce their work to wider audiences.

AEE/EIE provides a platform for members to share their publications and news, and encourages active participation through its networks. Its website features member profiles, new releases, videos, and updates, alongside an agenda of literary events. These include book presentations, festivals, author conversations, and commemorations. The association also offers workshops and conferences on topics such as attracting attention to a writer and their work, handling editorial rejection, and sustaining reading. Writers can explore membership information, follow the association’s activities, or contact the organization through its website. Through these initiatives, AEE/EIE fosters collaboration and visibility for writers across the region.
