Escuela Infantil Iris II is a privately run, officially authorised early childhood education centre in Madrid’s Hortaleza district. Its central aim is to help children grow up happy and healthy while supporting families in balancing work and home life. The school welcomes children throughout the year, Monday to Friday, from 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., at its location on Calle de La Seo de Urgel.
Learning is based on play, with teachers creating educational projects suited to each child’s stage of development. The centre offers activities designed to support learning and wellbeing, including sensory stimulation and psychomotor sessions, as well as the option of weekly swimming lessons. Eligible families may apply for childcare assistance from the Community of Madrid, and the school accepts childcare vouchers from Sodexo, Chèque Déjeuner (Educainfantil) and Edenred Ticket Guardería.
