Welcome to Escuela Virtual de Igualdad (Virtual School of Equality) – a space for training on equal opportunities between men and women. Established in 2007 by the Women's Institute, this platform has experienced significant growth in terms of participants and course offerings. Over the years, the number of available spots has increased from 2,500 in the first edition to 21,000 in the current one.

The school has expanded its range of courses to cater to a wider demand, including basic and advanced levels. Recent additions cover topics such as equality in the workplace, negotiations, and even specialized courses for the Police and Security Forces. The school has seen a growing number of both men and women eager to learn and understand the meaning of equality.

This significant demand reflects the social change and increasing awareness around this important issue. The Escuela Virtual de Igualdad aims to promote equal opportunities by providing free training programs across various fields. It has become the largest training platform on gender equality in Spain, with over 280,000 individuals already benefiting from its programs.

The school's goals include raising awareness among men and women about the social value of equality, integrating a gender perspective into different professional fields, and fostering reflection and attitude change.
