The Environmental Science Discipline Alumni Association (ESDAA) of Khulna University is a welfare association connecting graduates of the university’s Environmental Science Discipline, established in 1996 as a pioneer of environmental science education in Bangladesh. Formed through consultation among graduates, ESDAA aims to support alumni wellbeing and strengthen connections across its community. Its executive committee is chosen through a transparent, participatory election process governed by the association’s constitution and bylaws.

ESDAA supports alumni engagement through events, meetings, social and cultural activities, sports, travel, and community service. It shares news about members’ achievements and offers a platform for announcements, alumni stories, and career-related information. The association also circulates updates on environmental jobs, training, workshops, scholarships, and competitions, helping members stay informed about professional opportunities. Its publications include the ECOTONE newsletter, journals, conference reports, annual and audit reports, meeting resolutions, and resources on environmental laws, policies, and guidelines. Through these activities and communications, ESDAA fosters a connected alumni network while celebrating members’ contributions and encouraging continued participation in environmental and community affairs.
