Esel im Tal

Esel im Tal is a donkey experience and animal-assisted activity provider based at the Talhof in Bechtheim, Hünstetten, in Germany’s Taunus region. It offers guided donkey walks that bring families, groups and individual visitors into the surrounding forests, hills and villages. Participants can enjoy a relaxed outdoor outing with gentle, intelligent donkeys that may carry luggage, while learning to guide and work with the animals.

The programme also includes introductory tours, group hikes, children’s birthday activities, donkey sponsorships and animal-assisted interventions. As an Archehof, the Talhof contributes to preserving endangered livestock breeds and shares knowledge about their role in agriculture and biodiversity. The farm is also an official care location for Noteselhilfe e.
