ESEO Italia

ESEO Italia is an Italian nonprofit association formed by families with a member affected by eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) or related eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases. It supports children, adults, and their families by addressing the health, social, and everyday challenges associated with these conditions. The association also works to raise public awareness and contribute to research, including through fundraising.

ESEO Italia provides accessible information about EoE and other eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders through guides, frequently asked questions, articles, publications, and educational resources. Its website helps people find hospital centers in Italy and offers opportunities to ask questions of medical and nutrition experts. Families can also take part in parent support and mutual-help meetings, national events, and awareness initiatives, including activities that illuminate Italy in magenta.

The organization promotes research and knowledge through projects such as awards for the best thesis on EoE or EGID, and resources including BridgeEoE, a guide to transitioning care. Visitors can become members, donate, collaborate, or support the association through its fundraising initiatives.
