ESF Le Grand Bornand

The French Ski School (ESF) of Le Grand-Bornand offers instruction and mountain activities for visitors to the resort throughout the winter season. Its team of 240 state-certified instructors provides lessons for beginners and experienced participants, with options for children as young as three, teenagers, and adults. Alpine programs include group and private ski or snowboard lessons, childcare packages, seasonal courses, and specialist training in freestyle, freeride, and competition.

The school also offers Nordic activities across the Aravis area. Guests can book cross-country skiing lessons, including sessions for young children, seasonal courses, and private instruction, as well as biathlon experiences and snowshoe outings. Additional guided experiences include ski touring, off-piste skiing, safety sessions covering avalanche equipment, and activities such as night sledding, yooner, handiski, paragliding, igloo building, and vélo ski.

ESF Le Grand-Bornand provides practical information to help guests plan their stay, including course schedules, meeting points, ski-pass guidance, and level assessments. Lessons and activities can be booked online, and gift vouchers are available.
