Since Germany’s Electric Small Vehicles Ordinance (eKFV) came into force and commercial e-scooters became more widespread, the regulatory environment for electric skateboards has become more complicated. eSKAVE works to ensure that skateboard riders are considered in future legal and mobility decisions. The association emphasizes the role of committed individuals in building the German electric skateboard community and acknowledges their long-standing contributions. Rather than offering commercial products, eSKAVE provides a community and advocacy platform for electric skateboard riders, with opportunities to connect, discuss shared concerns, and support the inclusion of electric skateboards in future mobility.
