Eskilstuna Flygklubb

Eskilstuna Flygklubb is a gliding club based at Ekeby Airfield in Sweden, welcoming people interested in learning to fly, enjoying the sport, or joining a community of aviation enthusiasts. The club offers introductory flights with experienced instructors, giving newcomers the opportunity to try flying a glider and learn about take-off, landing, steering and air currents. Gift cards are also available for those seeking an aviation experience.

Members can train and fly using the club’s aircraft, while visitors may rent an ASH25 or Duo Discus for a week at Ekeby. The club supports a range of ambitions, from becoming a pilot and flying locally to undertaking cross-country journeys and competing. Its facilities include an airfield, clubhouse, daily towing, and maintenance resources for club and visiting aircraft. Eskilstuna Flygklubb also has qualified ARC examiners and aircraft technicians. Membership applications can be submitted by completing the club’s form and emailing it to the club.
