Espace Akita

Espace Akita Sàrl is a Swiss equine learning and development practice based in the Geneva area. Through its Akita equi-pedagogy approach, it offers children and adults opportunities to build an authentic, considerate relationship with themselves, horses, and their surroundings. The organization provides individual sessions as well as group activities, including workshops and introductory experiences, with programs adapted to each participant’s needs and pace.

Sessions may take place in a riding arena or outdoors on a walk, working with a horse on a lead rope, in long reins, or at liberty. Riding sessions are also available with a participant’s own horse or one of Espace Akita’s horses. The work invites participants to explore their fears, set aside social masks, and seek greater harmony through time with horses. Espace Akita welcomes people of all experience levels and offers services for both children and adults. Visits are currently suspended while the organization is relocating; meetings are available by reservation. The business is registered in Confignon, with lessons held in Troinex, Switzerland.
