Chimay is a Belgian Trappist brand built on more than 150 years of tradition, authenticity and craftsmanship. Its range includes Trappist beers and cheeses, presented as products with a shared heritage and enjoyed together. The Espace Chimay invites visitors to explore the history, production secrets and distinctive character of these beers and cheeses through the Chimay Expérience, which concludes with a 25-centilitre Chimay beer served on tap at the Auberge de Poteaupré.
The Auberge is a brewery, restaurant and hotel, offering a place to sample Chimay products and a base for discovering the surrounding region. It has eight guest rooms decorated in Chimay’s colours. At the Chimay Shop, customers can find Chimay products, regional foods such as cured meats, chocolate and biscuits, and souvenirs including T-shirts, glasses and gadgets. An online shop is also available. The Espace Chimay provides visitor information, including seasonal opening hours and directions, and shares recipes, news and updates about its beers and cheeses.
