Espaço Pessoa

Espaço Pessoa is a multidisciplinary health and development provider serving Odivelas and Benavente since 2008. Its specialists support people from early childhood through older age, combining healthcare, education and social-community support to address individual needs and promote well-being. Services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychomotricity, psychology, child psychiatry, physiotherapy and respiratory rehabilitation, as well as couples and family therapy, vocational guidance and cognitive stimulation at its Odivelas centre. The organisation also offers training and online consultations.

With facilities in both locations, Espaço Pessoa provides therapy in its centres and, when appropriate and possible, in clients’ everyday settings. Its teams can visit homes, schools, care homes, day centres and community institutions, helping people receive support where they need it. The centres have specialised staff and adapted therapy spaces, including gyms. Espaço Pessoa also works with public and private educational establishments and health insurers, and helps families explore eligibility for the Special Education Allowance.
