Welcome to Fundación Espejo y Entendimiento! We aim to create spaces for dialogue and understanding, fostering tolerance and recognition of others. Our goal is to envision how Venezuela, despite its current challenges, can be part of the 2030 Agenda.

At Fundación Espejo y Entendimiento, we organize Encounters 2030, where prominent personalities from various sectors of Venezuelan society come together to engage in open dialogue, listening, and understanding one another. These encounters take place in different regions of Venezuela, ensuring inclusivity and a better understanding of the local situation.

Our methodology, "Mirror and Understanding", seeks to promote a spirit of dialogue and generate changes in participants' sensitivity and mindset. By learning and practicing these generative dialogue skills, participants can bring about positive change in their respective spheres of influence, creating a ripple effect.

The dialogue structure revolves around the five dimensions of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda: people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnerships. Through these encounters, we create dialogue spaces in social realms where it may not typically occur, leading to agreements focused on sustainable development goals.

Before each Encounter 2030, we conduct research to understand the region's specific context in relation to the chosen sustainable development goal. This ensures depth in the discussions. After each encounter, we compile a report highlighting the session's discussions, challenges faced, and agreements reached.

Fundación Espejo y Entendimiento continues to support the resulting projects by encouraging key participants to form local groups that promote the shared vision. These groups also serve as repositories of ideas and projects, driving transformation at both the regional and national levels.
