Espoon hiihtoseura

Espoon Hiihtoseura ry (EHS) is a specialist cross-country skiing club founded in 1980, serving the Espoo and Kauniainen area of Finland. With nearly 450 members, the club offers year-round activities for children and adults, from beginners and recreational skiers to competitive athletes. Its programmes include age-based coaching groups, a youth group and Team EHS, alongside opportunities for other skiers to train and take part in club life.

EHS provides ski instruction for different ages and experience levels, including the Xplora children’s ski school, a youth recreational group, adult ski school and courses for workplace wellbeing. The club also organises children’s ski events and competitions, with results and event information available through its website. Recent activities include races at Leppävaara and roller-ski competitions at Oittaa, as well as a summer camp at Oittaa. EHS supports both participation and athletic development, bringing its community together on snow and on roller-ski tracks. Its activities connect local families, hobby skiers and aspiring high-level competitors through coaching, events and shared enthusiasm for cross-country skiing.
