Espoon Ratsastustalli Oy was an equestrian business based at Espoonkartano in Espoo, Finland. Founded in 1987, it operated for 30 years, providing riding activities and maintaining a riding school with lesson horses. Its work at Espoonkartano ended on October 31, 2016, after the company and its landlord, Esbogård Aktiebolag, could not agree on terms for extending the lease.
The company’s teaching horses were subsequently placed in new homes at riding centres and with private owners in locations across Finland. The stable also owned and managed a riding arena at Kuninkaankartanontie 42, which remained under the company’s control after the stable’s closure. The associated riding club, Espoonkartanon Ratsastajat ry, also ceased operations at the end of 2016; former members were advised to join another club to retain access to Finnish Equestrian Federation membership benefits.
