Esprit Karaté Douvres

Esprit Karaté Douvres is a karate club based in Douvres-la-Délivrande, in Calvados, serving the local community and welcoming practitioners of different ages and abilities. With more than 30 members in the current season, the club has grown steadily since its creation and offers training for children and adults. Its approach reflects the motto, “More than a sport, an art of body and mind,” and introduces members to karate as both a physical discipline and a practice rooted in personal development.

The club’s programme includes children’s classes, adult classes, advanced training for participants aged 14 and over, and Karaté Santé, including adapted health-focused practice. The published schedule lists beginner and Karaté Santé sessions on Fridays from 8 to 9 p.m., followed by the advanced class from 9 to 10 p.m. Esprit Karaté Douvres also shares information about karate history, Shotokan, kata, masters and guiding principles, alongside club events, photos and videos. Prospective members can contact the club by phone, email or its website form.
