East Side Riders Bike Club (ESRBC) is an all-volunteer, grassroots bicycle club serving Watts and South Central Los Angeles. Its mission is to strengthen the community through service, charity work, and cycling programs that help keep young people away from gangs and drugs. The organization also aims to support people in need and educate those who want to contribute to their community.

ESRBC responds to local challenges, including limited recreational opportunities for youth, safety concerns that restrict travel between neighborhoods, and families’ lack of access to bicycles and safety equipment. Its activities include group rides, community events, and the Ride to Feed the Hungry series, held on the fourth Friday of each month unless otherwise noted. The club also offers B.E.A.S.T. (Bicycle Education and Safety Training) classes during winter, spring, and summer breaks, along with a kids’ summer program and street hockey sign-ups. Community members can participate as riders, volunteers, or members. Membership involves attending two meetings and riding with the club on two weekends each month.
