Ontario Minor Hockey

Essa Minor Hockey is a community-based youth hockey organization serving players across age groups and competitive levels. Its programs include U7 and U8 development, house league and rep hockey, and the Junior Eagles program, with teams competing in league play and tournaments. The organization supports players and families with registration information, team-finding resources, schedules, results, equipment guidance and financial assistance details.

Essa Minor Hockey also offers player development opportunities such as power skating, goalie clinics and the Junior Eagles program. For coaches, trainers, managers and volunteers, it provides resources covering safe sport, concussion awareness, emergency action plans, team administration, scorekeeping and training. Safety and participation are supported through policies, required-equipment guidance and access to injury and medical forms.

The association hosts events including the Essa Eagles Fall Classic, Christmas Classic, U7/U8 Jamboree and John Prince Memorial Tournament. Its website shares news, upcoming games, ice schedules, registration notices and community events, helping members stay informed and involved throughout the hockey season.
