About Essex Alliance FL
The Essex Alliance Football League is a vibrant community-focused football league founded in 2021, merging the storied Ilford & District Football League and the Essex Business Houses Football League. This league aims to promote grassroots football in Essex and East London, providing a pathway for local clubs to advance through the non-league football pyramid. Initially welcoming 37 clubs, it has quickly gained traction, offering competitive play across multiple divisions and fostering a spirit of collaboration among teams.
Serving various boroughs including Havering and Barking & Dagenham, the Essex Alliance Football League is committed to restoring the popularity of Saturday football. The league’s management, comprised of passionate members from its predecessor leagues, is dedicated to enhancing participation and the overall experience of players.
