Essex Catholic High School Foundation Inc.

Essex Catholic High School Foundation Inc. preserves and advances the legacy of Essex Catholic High School, a regional private Catholic school with a history in Newark from 1957 to 1980 and East Orange from 1981 to 2003. Remembered for its strong academics, athletic programs, and close-knit community, the school shaped the lives of thousands of students. The Foundation’s mission is to strengthen the Essex Catholic community through events and charitable giving, keeping the spirit of the Eagles alive.

The Foundation offers a scholarship program and organizes events that bring alumni and the wider Essex Catholic family together. Its website also helps former students connect through alumni team captains, explore the school’s history, view historic photographs, and learn about mentoring opportunities for high school students. Visitors can find information about the Foundation’s mission, school, board of trustees, Hall of Fame, upcoming events, and alumni products. Alumni and supporters can also sign up to receive news and event announcements, participate in Foundation activities, and contribute through donations.
