About Essex County Park System

With over 120 years of experience, we have revitalized our parks to provide modern amenities for our residents and contribute to the health of our communities. In addition to our existing parks, we have recently expanded our offerings with five new additions, including Essex County Cedar Grove Park, Essex County Riverfront Park, Essex County Veterans Memorial Park, Essex County Kip’s Castle Park, and Essex County Presby Memorial Iris Gardens. Equipped with modern playgrounds, synthetic grass fields, and renovated park buildings, we have created spaces that cater to all ages and interests.
Don't miss our renowned Cherry Blossom Festival in Branch Brook Park, boasting over 5,000 trees that offer a more vibrant spring display than the national collection in Washington, DC.
