Essex Outdoors is the outdoor education and adventure provider of Essex County Council, welcoming schools, groups, families and businesses to experience activities across four centres in Essex: Bradwell, Danbury, Harlow and Mersea. Its programmes combine outdoor learning, challenge and recreation, with qualified instructors delivering more than 40 activities, including archery and zip wire experiences.
Schools can book day trips, residential visits, field trips and forest school programmes for primary, secondary and further education groups. Youth groups can arrange tailored trips and Duke of Edinburgh experiences, while families can enjoy holiday activity days, multi-activity clubs, paddlesports, sailing, birthday celebrations and other adventures. At Harlow, The Lock Climbing Wall welcomes both beginners and experienced climbers, with courses and events available.
