ESSIA, the Estonian Ski and Snowboard Instructors Association, brings together licensed, professional ski and snowboard instructors and promotes safe, methodical mountain-sport instruction and recreational activity. The association is an official member of the international umbrella organisations IAESS and INTERSKI, and supports the use of qualified instructors in Estonian ski schools.

ESSIA offers introductory and continuing education for people seeking instructor qualifications, working with international organisations to provide opportunities to earn internationally recognised instructor licences. Its courses help participants develop their technical riding skills and improve their enjoyment on the slopes.
