About ESSP
ESSP-SAS, the European Satellite Services Provider, is a specialist in operating and providing services for satellite navigation systems. Its members are seven European Air Navigation Service Providers, and the company has offices in Toulouse, France, and Madrid, Spain. ESSP supports safer, more secure, connected and environmentally conscious operations through high-end systems and satellite-based services.
Its core offerings include EGNOS services, pan-European safety-critical services, and satellite-based communications and navigation solutions. ESSP is also the service provider for Iris, leading its commercialisation to European air navigation service providers. Iris delivers satellite-based data link communications intended to support global air traffic management modernisation.
Beyond aviation, ESSP provides services and expertise across application areas including road, rail, maritime, agriculture, mapping and surveying, space systems, and location-based services. Its portfolio also includes aviation consultancy, export and GNSS consultancy, and consultancy services for connected aircraft and satellite-based CNS.
