Educational Scholarships for Single Parents (ESSP) is a Tarrant County, Texas-based organization dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged single parents pursue post-secondary education and build greater self-sufficiency. Through its scholarship program, ESSP supports eligible parents seeking career-oriented study at an accredited educational institution or technical school.

Applicants must live in Tarrant County, be the head of a household, have primary custody of at least one child under 21, and hold a high school diploma or GED. The organization also requires applicants to live at or near the poverty level, have applied for a Pell Grant, and not have already earned an undergraduate degree.
