About Estalagem do Vale
Estalagem do Vale is a historic country-house hotel in São Vicente, on the northern side of Madeira Island, set in the Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The property began as a manor house more than 150 years ago and later served as a school and a hospital before becoming an inn. Today, it offers 41 rooms with amenities including cable TV, internet access and direct-dial telephones, as well as a room adapted for guests with limited mobility.
Facilities include a restaurant, bar and spa, along with leisure spaces in the hotel and its gardens. Guests can enjoy an indoor swimming pool in winter and an outdoor pool in summer.
