ESTEVA is a leading pathology laboratory with over 30 years of experience, offering a wide range of specialized services in anatomical and cytopathology. Our services include the study of biopsies and surgical specimens, frozen sections for intraoperative evaluation, cervical-vaginal cytologies using both conventional and liquid-based methods, determination of HPV in cervical-vaginal specimens, cytology studies of body fluids, and fine-needle aspirations of superficial organs using palpation or ultrasound guidance.

We also offer traditional histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and molecular studies, either performed in-house or in highly qualified referral institutions. Since our establishment in 1986, we have gained recognition for our diligent and accurate work, earning the trust of our colleagues and the wider medical community. We have been pioneers in implementing new diagnostic techniques, such as fine-needle aspirations of both superficial and deep organs and the intraoperative evaluation of sentinel lymph nodes in oncological surgeries. In 2014, Dr. Carlos José Esteva Guillén joined our laboratory's team after completing his specialized studies in the US, including a subspecialty in Surgical Oncologic Pathology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

This addition led to the introduction of new diagnostic equipment and techniques. We have expanded our physical space to accommodate the growing demand for our services and to house state-of-the-art instruments that enhance our efficiency and further support our commitment to patient health.
