Sophie is a digital surgery platform from Estructure Medical, designed to connect clinical information, equipment and teams throughout the surgical process. Powered by artificial intelligence, it brings images, video, reports and medical data together in a configurable environment for hospitals, medical centres and teaching institutions. The platform supports integration with hospital systems including HIS, PACS, HL7 and EMR, helping make clinical information available where it is needed.

Sophie’s modular ecosystem includes tools for secure medical videoconferencing, patient data and checklist management, high-quality surgical streaming, 2D and 3D DICOM image viewing, automated medical communications, and multi-camera visualization. During procedures, teams can use voice, gestures or remote controls to operate system functions, collaborate in real time, and record and transcribe activity for documentation and later review. The platform also supports remote education, clinical annotations and postoperative follow-up. Sophie includes biometric access controls and automatic data anonymization designed to support GDPR and HIPAA compliance. Its aim is to help hospitals improve coordination, streamline workflows and create a more connected surgical environment.
