ESVÖ, the Austrian eSports Association, is the national governing body for the eSports landscape in Austria. With a mission to create a transparent, open, and democratic structure, ESVÖ aims to act swiftly and efficiently in supporting the electronic sport in all its aspects. They coordinate and optimize available resources, represent the industry to society and policymakers, and assume operational responsibilities at various major events in partnership with their affiliates.

ESVÖ has established a strong foundation in its first year, building a stable structure that can be flexibly adapted to incorporate new elements as needed. The association operates under a board structure, with the boardspeaker appointed by the direct boardmembers. To resolve any major disagreements, an impartial arbitration panel consisting of external legal experts, not directly involved in eSports, has been set up.
